Meet Kari

My newest arrival! Kari has come from far-off Russia to join my lil' group. I couldn't find a truly Russian name to give her, so I got a little creative... 'Kari' is a close equivalent to 'Kariy' (карий), which means 'hazel'... which is the color of her hair. (Ok, technically it's "shining brown", but shining brown is pretty hazel colored!)

I'm toying with the idea of attempting to color at least the tips of her hair with acrylic paint (think switching from hazel to chesnut)... but I've seen both great success and horrible doll-ruining alike using the technique. Anyone got any tips or experience with the 'risk level'? I don't mind accidentally staining her body- that's replaceable- but nothing is allowed to happen to her face!
